Check out this priceless picture that appeared on my Facebook Memories feedback on Tuesday February 12, 2019.
It was taken February 12, 2015 in Norwalk CT where I worked as Head of Strategy for Pepperidge Farm and I titled the picture Russian Steppe meets New England Tundra. At the time, we were going through the “Winter no longer Wonderland”, where we dealt with a weekly snow storm that dumped a foot of the white stuff each time. It was a long winter and one of the reasons I moved from the Atlantic Northeast to the Pacific Northwest (one of the three best life decisions I’ve made). Little did I think that four years to the day later, I would be engulfed in another series of snow events, albeit with a total accumulation of a foot.
If I replaced the duck boots with socks and sandals, it would be the perfect look for the Washington winter we are having … but what would I title the picture? Any ideas? I’ll re-create the outfit if we find the right caption!
